Welcome to The Debbie De Foundation

The Time For Change is Now

At The Debbie De Foundation, we believe in empowering individuals, breaking barriers, and fostering dignity for all. Our mission is simple yet transformative: empower children, young girls, and women by providing the support and resources they need to stay in school and achieve their full potential..

We understand the profound impact of poverty, menstrual poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition has on education, health, and self-esteem, especially in marginalized communities. That’s why we’re dedicated to providing sustainable solutions, including quality reusable pads, education, and advocacy. Through compassion, innovation, and collaboration, we are creating a world where no one is held back.

Here, you’ll find not just information about our initiatives but also a thriving community that stands together to make a difference. Whether you’re a donor, a volunteer, or someone looking for support, know that you are part of a movement rooted in care, respect, and the shared vision of a better tomorrow.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, we are restoring dignity, rewriting narratives, and changing lives—one period at a time.

Welcome to The Debbie De Foundation family. Let’s make an impact, together!

Our Impact

Sanitary Pads Drive

Roughly 1 in 10 girls in Africa miss school because of their periods each year. Without access to proper education, resources, girls are often forced to stay home from school during their periods, which leads them to missing school. This drive aims at proving young girls with sanitary pads on a quarterly basis each year. Every year we donate over 800 sanitary pads to young girls and women. By simply donating you can keep a girl child in school. Be part of the movement, make your donation today.

Sakhisizwe Stationery Drive

Sakhisizwe means building a nation, an Outreach based book club established by The Debbie Mogale Girls Foundation that aims at assisting children with English Literacy.  One of the biggest problems in South Africa and Africa at large is the difficulty of children and young people who are not on par with reading levels for their age group, as well as the lack of reading materials and libraries, and little to no reinforcement of learning at home.
